Taking inspiration from his local environment of Waterford, Ireland’s Ancient East, Gene developed his talent for design and creativity as a master craftsman at Waterford Crystal and was subsequently invited to join Waterford Crystal’s prestigious design department.

Over the next 25 years Gene was instrumental in designing Waterford Crystal’s innovative range of solid crystal giftware. In addition to developing new products, Gene also designed many of Waterford Crystal’s one-off presentation pieces for world sporting events. He has also worked in conjunction with Disney’s art department sculpting many of their characters in solid crystal.

Now at a new stage of his career Gene has reignited his passion for  creativity by designing and hand crafting his own collection of pure silver jewellery pieces. The medium of Pure Silver allows Gene to breath new life into his designs and enabling him to create a unique collection of Irish inspired contemporary jewellery.

Residing just a few miles from the Atlantic Ocean and the Comeragh Mountains, it’s easy to see why nature serves as an inspiration for Gene’s silver work.

Uniting the craftsmanship of his previous crystal work with the beauty and elegance of nature, Gene brings you stunning statement jewellery made from pure silver.
